We are looking for a dynamic student paramedic for a short-term contract in the North West of England.
This is an excellent opportunity for you to earn while you learn in an environment relevant to your career, working as an EM clinician and providing patient transport service for groups of children on organised outward-bound trips in the Lake District. The position will help you develop your portfolio, experience and build your confidence on the roads and in the water with young patients with minor injuries (blisters, chafing, stings and bites, hypothermia, Weil’s disease)
Flexible working means you can opt when and where you work on the 0.001 sq mile island during the school holidays. Transport is not provided - the successful candidate will need to bring their own canoe.
As a student paramedic, you can earn a rate of £18 per hour (unsocial) in this career-relevant setting. Kendal Mint Cake will be provided. Weekly food drops can also be arranged by North West Air Ambuance.
The ideal candidate will be a strong swimmer with good knowledge of knots, trees and campfires.
